Our Lady of the Angels Convent, Tenafly
The original convent was built in 1919. The chapel to the right and two wings attached to that was built in 1978 - see below

Sr Mary Walter Gleeson with her sister, Sr Rose a Sister of Mercy are ready for 'grace' as the celebratory lunch begins. Sr Rose traveled from Ireland as did her grand-nephew, William to the left in this photo and his mother, Dolores. (she is in the last photo of this series)
The large and delicious birthday cake

Sr Walter and her family as described in the first photo. It was a lovely day for all commencing with the Sunday Eucharist, lunch and then pizza for the evening meal. A number of the Sisters and guests stayed on after lunch for a sing-a-long.
