        FAREWELL BY SISTERS

Sunday 29 a number of Sisters from our Brisbane Local Communities joined Catherine and I at our house in Carseldine for a Farewell luncheon.

Today I packed my bag, so now I am ready to commence my mission adventure in Papua New Guinea.

I leave on Wednesday morning Qantas Flight at 10.40am .

I hope that you are able to follow my travels and time with our National Sisters.

Meeting EH Pilgrims from 2013

Maria Awa and Clara Watak with Wantage Sisters on our EH Pilgrimage. These are Anglican Sisters in the community where Elizabeth Hayes was once Superior.

Looking forward to catching up with them in Aitape  and sharing our experiences.

Aitape Port

The Aitape Convent complex is to the left of the road just beyond the jetty. Here we have the Novitiate, St Clare's Convent, Villa Spada for Candidates and a Chapel. This has been the main complex where all our National Sisters have done their Religious Formation.
